R.U.F.F. sometimes has supplies or donations that need to be picked up. They also are constantly transporting new dogs or puppies to/from the vet for vaccinations or spay/neuter or routine health care. Every time a kennel tech has to leave R.U.F.F., there are duties not being taken care of at the kennel while they are gone. If you have a vehicle & can be available on short notice, we would really appreciate having your name & phone number at the office to call you when we can use someone for an errand or emergency. For transporting dogs to/from the vet, if you do not want to use your personal vehicle, you must have proof of a good driving record & can use a R.U.F.F. van, which is equipped with kennels for safe transport of the dogs. You should have at least a medium amount of experience handling dogs of various sizes & energy levels.
