When there are 4 playful dogs in a kennel & someone has an "accident", EVERYONE is gonna get down & dirty! You don't have to be a real "groomer"....but giving the dogs baths gives you a chance to get to know the dogs & vice versa.....plus it keeps them looking prettier for adoption. YOU MUST HAVE A KENNEL TECH WORK WITH YOU TO COORDINATE SELECTING DOGS TO BE BATHED & PROPER PROCEDURE FOR MOVING THEM TO/FROM THE BATHING AREA until you become experienced. The dog you are taking to bathe may be traveling thru an area where other dogs may be running loose on their way to or from the outdoor runs.
Don't want to get wet ? There are long & short-haired dogs of every description & most dogs enjoy the feel of a good brush, nice words spoken to them while they are being brushed & a treat when they are done!
